The SDSRT Student Internship Program is an exciting opportunity for students to learn more about some serious involvement in professional organizations. The two first year students that are chosen each year participate in SDSRT Annual Conferences and attend meetings with the SDSRT Board of Directors. Upon successful completion of the internship, each intern will receive a scholarship from the SDSRT for all of their work.
The SDSRT Internship works in conjunction with the ASRT Student Leadership Development. Student Interns will also participate in this program will get to know the ASRT, attend educational sessions, and network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.

Why did you decide to participate in this internship: I want to be involved in the radiology community, make a positive impact, and meet other people that love radiology as much as I do!
Hobbies: volleyball, hiking, diy crafts, cooking, anything outdoors
Fun fact: I have two rescue pups that go everywhere with me. One weighs 4 pounds and the other 8 lbs. (Quila and Josie)

Why did you decide to participate in this internship: to learn more about our profession‘s societies and current events as well as the opportunity to network with radiologic technologist from across the country.
Hobbies: traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends.

Why did you decide to participate in this internship: I wanted to get involved to learn more about our profession and to be able to network with others in the field.
Hobbies: Being involved in my kids’ activities, reading, traveling, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings
Fun fact: I’d love to live by an ocean someday. My husband and I have three amazing kids as well as three dogs (2 mini aussiedoodles and a chiweenie).
